Nemusíte sa báť, že vám tu budem hovoriť, ako držať šálku kávy, alebo či miešať cukor v smere alebo proti smeru hodinových ručičiek.
Tento blog je o tom, ako si zorganizovať svoju vyučovaciu hodinu tak, aby ste počas nej MOHLI popíjať kávu (alebo čaj). Inými slovami – nájsť spôsoby, ako žiakov učiť bez toho, aby ste museli robiť väčšinu práce vy.
Vo svojom predchádzajúcom blogu som už hovoril o dôležitosti používania hier. Dnes sa pozrieme na to, aké kroky podniknúť, aby ste si ZAČALI svoju kávu aj naozaj vychutnávať.
KROK 1: Uvarte si kávu a plánujte ju vypiť
Znie to jednoducho. A teoreticky aj je. Uvarte si šálku kávy pred začiatkom hodiny a sľúbte si, že si počas nej odpijete pár dúškov. Väčšina z nás myslí, že nemôžu alebo by nemali. Mohli by povedať: „Sme predsa učitelia! Našou úlohou je učiť, nie piť kávu počas hodiny.“ Aby sme to prekonali, musíme tento vnútorný hlas ignorovať, nastaviť svoju myseľ na tento prvý krok a len pozorovať, čo sa stane.
KROK 2: Skontrolujte si svoju šálku
Na konci hodiny skontrolujte, či ste si stihli dať zopár dúškov. Ak ste to urobili, skúste si spomenúť, kedy ste to urobili a čo to umožnilo. Ak nie, vráťte sa k hodine a premýšľajte o tom, čo to znemožnilo. Takto zistíte, aké podmienky boli potrebné alebo aké podmienky vám chýbali na to, prečo ste kávu počas hodiny nepili.
KROK 3: Popíjajte kávičku častejšie
Teraz, keď ste lepšie pochopili, aké podmienky na popíjanie kávičky potrebujete, môžete hľadať ďalšie príležitosti na ich vytvorenie. Zvyčajne začínam otázkou:
- Môžem zaviesť rutinu? (Nie som potrebný vtedy, keď vedia, čo majú robiť)
- Môžem to zmeniť na hru? (s potrebou vedieť ako ďalej alebo byť v hre úspešný)
- Môžem dodať: „Kto je učiteľ?“ (a môžem sa stať pozorovateľom)
KROK 4: Urobte si z kávičkovania svoj cieľ
Stanovením si konkrétneho cieľa nielenže spoznáte viac príležitostí na jeho dosiahnutie, ale stanete sa aj vynaliezavými pri prekonávaní prekážok, ktoré na ceste objavíte. A v tomto procese premeníte svoju triedu na miesto, kde žiaci premýšľajú, učia sa, spolupracujú, komunikujú a tvoria novým a predtým nepredstaviteľným spôsobom.
