This is a simple warmer that makes students go over their active vocabulary. They can learn some words from each other and they find out that there are letters and sounds in English that are easily confused, like: ‘a’ and ‘e’, ‘j’ and ‘g’, ‘v’ and ‘w’, ‘c’ and ‘k’. If you add the rule that words can’t be repeated, they will also practice active listening.
No need to keep score, the winner is happy enough to spin the wheel. If you don’t have a alphabet spinner, just have them go over the alphabet in their head and say ‘stop’.
Larger groups: make teams of 2.
