I have always used games in my lessons to make them more enjoyable, but it wasn’t till I made the decision to put them at the heart of my lessons, that I started making them smarter.

Without that decision, I would now not be able to incorporate 21st century skills like cooperation and creativity, use differentiation to address different needs and ensure progress for each individual student.

Without that decision, I would be lost, frustrated and exhausted. Instead I find myself goal-driven, excited and energized.

All thanks to that one decision I made years ago: to change my lesson plan into a game plan.
