This is another version of ‘Feed the polar bear’. This time with two teams to get even more engagement. I am sure it will work well even without any candy in the boat.

Here I’m using the alphabet spinner to review action verbs. In another version of this game, I have the teams quiz each other on a set topic or grammar form.

Tip: If only the strongest students are shouting out words, you could add a rule to ensure that others are participating too. Before spinning the wheel, ask students to stand up. After somebody shouts out a word, they sit down. A student that is sitting can still help their standing teammates, but can no longer shout out words until the next round.
