Draw and tell me why

This relaxing activity is easy to do with the whole classroom. I wouldn’t do more than 8 drawings.

The practice is in describing objects and in using why and because. You describe it first, but later they describe it back to you. This is a very useful skill to practice. If you don’t remember a specific word, you can always describe it and still get your message across.

Also, notice how well they understand my instructions. They might not understand each word, but the key words and the gestures I use are enough for them to know what to do.
