Heads Up! in teams

This is not only a very engaging game, it is also very useful practice. Often when people don’t remember a word (read: can’t translate it), they stop talking and give up. This game gives practices describing a word, so the listener understands what you are talking about.  Exactly what you need if you get stuck in translation, but still want to get your message across.

As you can see, my only job is to be the referee. To make sure they stick to the rules and to know which team got it first (which is actually quite hard).

More versions of this game: allow pantomime to more reflect a real-life situation (talking with hands and feet) or have a bit of fun by only allowing pantomime and no talking.
