For this game they need to know some comparatives. Students can discover comparatives with the puzzle we created that is available for download in the ‘stiahnutie’ section.

The cards on the table are not in the game yet. The person/team that is asking is always playing against the person/team that has the set of cards that were already played. If they lose, they always have to hand over the whole set.

Problem:

As you can see in the video, students just want to play the game and making sentences is ‘wasting’ time for them.

Solution:

I added the rule that the losing team will not hand over their card(s) unless they hear a correct sentence (‘Ok, we lost this one, but you have to do the work and we don’t’).

Of course, you can also play here with the opposites (How stupid/weak/slow/friendly/ugly/small) once they are familiar with the game.
