This is a simple game which allows students to practice ‘going to’ and be creative at the same time. You can see that they are looking for opportunities to be funny, smart and original.

Here, I’m going around in a circle, but the question ‘What are YOU going to do with this …?’ could also be asked to the entire group (YOU becoming plural) and anyone could reply thereby triggering more creativity.

Next time, I could introduce the short form ‘gonna’ and the third time the short form question ‘Watcha gonna do with that …?’
